The word of God is not a weapon to bludgeon and hack other people with.
Today, I receive Jesus’s prayer.
Jesus is more worthy of my own “belief” than I am.
Jesus told them only and exactly what they really needed to know.
I can stand with the world in its delusions or stand with the Spirit of truth.
All of us can and should evangelize, but the body of Christ must have the gift of evangelism.
At the center of it all is obedience to His command: “Love each other.”
We can only experience the love of God when we exercise love in Christ Jesus toward one another.
We all need to get over ourselves—beginning with me-myself-and-I.
The love of Christ is the goal.
