Spiritual Authority
The authority of Christ is the ultimate authority, and there is never any need to assert that authority or demand compliance.
It is important (maybe critical) for evangelicals to continually bear witness to salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Any authority given to any human being from human beings is meaningless unless it is the mission of that church and those human beings to walk in obedience to Christ.
