River of Life
Not every Christian is called to be a preacher or a missionary. But every Christian is called to do our part to help the Great Commission reach its fulfillment.
Eternal Prosperity
The prosperity that we so desperately seek is not of this world. Whatever prosperity that humanity may attain in this life is fleeting. And that prosperity is fleeting because of the sinfulness of the human heart. The word of God bears witness that it is perfectly fine for us to pursue prosperity in our lives. But the pursuit of prosperity must be subordinate to the pursuit of God’s purposes.
Jesus Is Coming
The point is not to give up living our lives because Jesus is coming back. The point is that we should live our lives to the full in Christ Jesus because Jesus is coming back. … Most Christians seem to understand church as an accessory to their lives. Jesus pleads with us to think differently.
What Generation?
We would be more compelled to obey that command if we really thought in our gut that Jesus is returning really soon.
What Lightning?
The key to truly understanding the Scriptures and recognizing the end times when it comes has to be faith.
Not Lukewarm
How eager am I for the gospel of the kingdom to be preached in the whole world?

If the fact of Jesus Christ returning is not shaping our worldview and the priorities of our lives, can we say that we will be “dressed in wedding clothes” when Jesus suddenly comes?
