17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, LORD God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
— Psalm 80:17-19

Do I have a sense of the joy set before me in Christ Jesus? And whatever discouragement I may face, what is that compared to the joy of being in Christ?
Father, You are the Author of my salvation, and You have clothed me in Christ, the Pioneer and Perfecter of my faith. Sometimes my faith is weak, and I grow discouraged. Thank You for reminding me of the joy set before me in Christ. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
